A “long-term” investigation
From the first hours following the disappearance, searches, supervised by the gendarmes, were undertaken.
Residents of La Plaine were interviewed by investigators and a new search was carried out in November, without success.
One man claimed to have passed her walking towards the station while another thought he saw her in the car a few minutes later, three kilometers away.
The Strasbourg public prosecutor's office predicted "long-term investigations".
