A laboratory specializing in the analysis of digital media located approximately 45 km north of Marseille was the target of an arson attack on the night of Tuesday February 13 to Wednesday February 14.
Shortly after midnight, according to images captured by video surveillance cameras, three hooded men broke into this laboratory before spraying the premises with an inflammable product and throwing incendiary devices.
According to our information, the three suspects then fled in a vehicle equipped with a false license plate.
The criminals' car was finally found burned 600 m from the scene of the incident.
The three men are currently on the run.
The Marseille judicial police are responsible for the investigation.
Initially entrusted to the Draguignan public prosecutor's office, the investigations were transferred to Marseille due to the sensitivity of the case.
