In a film from the BR series, "Lebenslinien', Christian Neureuther remembers the woman of his life. The first encounter with Rosi while skiing in 1966 – he was 16, she was 15 – "struck him like lightning," and he felt like he had been transported back to the Romantic era "in the way we approach each other." In fact, Rosi and Christian kept their love secret for a long time. The film contains many scenes from a portrait from that same year in 2018, which was subtitled "Gold in the Combination' and talks about the special moments of their relationship. Even back then, Christian was more talkative, so the transitions between the old and the new sequences are fluid - especially since the 74-year-old has hardly changed externally since then.
