A gunshot, an apartment turned upside down, three injured women, all in the heart of the Marais... There are still pieces missing to reconstruct the film of the evening which ended in blood, this Tuesday in this district of the capital . A young man and a young woman, both aged 20, have been in police custody since that evening for attempted murder, pimping and possession of a weapon.
It was a shot, fired from a home on rue de Poitou (IIIe), in the evening, which precipitated a call to the police. It appeared to come from an apartment on the third floor of a building, against the backdrop of a violent argument. Inside the studio, police found three young women and a young man, between 18 and 20 years old.
A weapon case with purchase invoice
It was one of them who ended up opening up to the police, with blood on her hands. But no occupant was quick to speak about the reasons for the tumult, nor the gunshot. In the accommodation, there was a pungent smell of tear gas. Broken glass, broken furniture and multiple traces of blood were found on the floor and on the walls. The three young women were injured, in the hands, feet, arm or neck for one of them.
A gun case was found in the apartment, along with a purchase receipt for a 9mm pistol. A bag with tickets was discovered, as well as used condoms. Firefighters were called to treat the injured.
The young man, originally from Val-de-Marne, as well as the young woman who opened the door, originally from Yonne, were placed in police custody - after a visit to the hospital for the young woman, in order to to treat his wounds — for attempted murder, aggravated pimping and possession of a weapon. The two other young women, aged 18 and 20, one from Ile-de-France, the other from Lyon, were taken to hospital.
The two suspects are suspected of having prostituted the young women, in this apartment rented for a few days on a seasonal rental site in this area particularly popular with tourists. The investigation was entrusted to the first judicial police division. Asked this Wednesday afternoon, the Paris prosecutor's office was not able to provide details.
