Rescuers continue to search for those who went missing on December 30, when a massive landslide swept away ma

A new victim was found dead in the rubble caused by the December 30 landslide in Norway.

Now two people have officially died in the disaster.

Rescuers are continuing their operations in an attempt to locate eight other people who went missing when houses in Ask village were washed away.

"We still have hope of finding survivors," one of the leaders of the Roy Alkvist rescue mission told reporters, three days after the impressive landslide in the town of Ask, north-east of the country. 'Oslo, which also left ten injured.

According to this rescuer, people carried into their homes could find themselves in "air pockets" which could allow them to breathe.

A thousand people, who were evacuated by the authorities shortly after the disaster, remain homeless.

The ground broke again during the night from Friday to Saturday, the inhabitants still cannot return home.
