Qatar: Brussels validates the arrests of Panzeri and Kaili

The Belgian justice validated the arrest and confirmed the charges for four people arrested as part of the investigation into suspected bribes from Qatar to the Eurochamber. (HANDLE)

(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, DECEMBER 11 - The Belgian judiciary has validated the arrest and confirmed the charges against four people detained in the context of the investigation into suspected bribes from Qatar to the Eurochamber.

The 4 validated detainers are those of the EP vice president Eva Kaili, the former MEP Antonio Panzeri, the parliamentary assistant Francesco Giorgi and Niccolò Figa-Talamanca of the NGO No Peace Without Justice.
