A distinguished Iranian presence in the Damascus International Fair in its sixty-first session and many Iranian-Syrian contracts signed to accomplish many projects in different sectors and others under discussion and completion.

Issa al-Dabi, in charge of Iranian participation in the Damascus International Fair, assured the delegate of SANA that the Iranian participation in this session is the widest indicating that the management of the exhibition provided all the necessary facilities for the Iranian companies participating on an area of ​​1200 square meters covering various specialties of agricultural, industrial, food and building materials. Iranian participation will have a major role in the reconstruction of Syria. ”

"The Iranian companies are starting to conclude contracts with their Syrian counterparts and we will see more contracts in the coming days," he said.

During a tour of the Iranian pavilion, SANA met with a number of representatives of Iranian companies who stressed that the Damascus International Fair opened new horizons for them and expanded the scope of their projects in Syria.

Majid Rasheed from Bonyad said that the company includes seven holding companies specialized in infrastructure works, construction of dams, bridges, trains and metro in addition to food production, stressing that their participation in the exhibition contributed to provide more opportunities for them to contribute to the reconstruction in Syria.

Official said: “The company signed an agreement with the Ministry of Industry to establish a joint factory in the city of Latakia to produce foodstuffs“ fruit juices condensate ”and within the next two months will be started in the construction of the plant in addition to another agreement to complete joint factories to produce building facades in Homs and a holding company To produce building materials, especially bathroom and ceramic sets. ”

He disclosed the existence of talks with the Syrian Ministry of Oil to establish a factory to refine motor oils, stressing that Iranian companies are eligible to participate in the reconstruction of Syria.

Engineer Jaafar Shivazi, General Manager of Art Machine Group, specialized in the construction of mills, confirmed that the company is working on the completion of 5 projects in Syria, including a mill with a capacity of 300 tons per day implemented in Sweida and soon to be announced.

He pointed out that the second project is being implemented in Hama governorate in the Salhab region and the completion rate reached 65 percent. “Currently there are negotiations with the Syrian side to know the places where the other mills will be implemented,” he said, stressing the company's readiness to implement any project that would improve the level of production, rehabilitation and maintenance of all.
