Fifteen Emirati companies will participate in the 61st Damascus International Fair and will be distributed in the tenth stand on an area of 500 square meters.
The UAE pavilion includes offers and divisions for companies in a variety of areas including real estate, commercial, tourism and investment, in addition to the Chambers of Commerce in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah.
Farooq Khatib, one of the exhibitors from Isgrorel Investment Company, confirmed in a statement to SANA that the UAE companies came to participate through a delegation comprising businessmen and exhibitors with the aim of signing agreements and deals and opening investment and trade opportunities between the Syrian and GCC markets, pointing out that work is underway to study the Syrian market.
Khatib pointed to the history of the Damascus International Fair and its economic importance as a platform for marketing, display, and deals.
This year's edition of the Damascus Exhibition will witness a remarkable distinction in terms of Arab and foreign participation, where the reserved areas amounted to 100,000 square meters.
