Sixteen Russian companies from different regions of the Russian Federation are participating in the 61st Damascus International Fair.
In a statement to SANA, the charge d'affaires of the Russian Embassy in Damascus Eldar Gurbanov pointed out that these companies come from various regions of the Russian Federation, including the regions of Rostov and Kirov, as well as the Republics of Crimea and Mordovia and companies working in the fields of construction and manufacture of fertilizers, heavy machinery and foodstuffs.

The Commercial Attaché pointed out that the visit of an official delegation from the Republic of Crimea led by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Crimea Georgi Muratov resulted in the signing of an agreement with the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade and an agreement between the Maritime Ports Company in Crimea with the port of Lattakia Syrian Fruits and Vegetables.
The representative of Randar Company specialized in the manufacture of feed and agricultural fertilizers, said that the presence of Russian companies to Damascus aims to strengthen areas of cooperation and increase the rapprochement of the peoples of the two friendly countries, saying that such cooperation will contribute to breaking the unilateral coercive measures imposed by some Western countries on Syria.
Among the Russian companies present at the exhibition are the research and production company specialized in the production of lighting equipment, the company "Oksomo" limited liability company specializing in the sale of power cables that enjoy various insulation techniques, and the "Kurtmorg" business equipment and materials for oil and gas companies and "Kirov factory" It is one of the largest manufacturers of engineering, repair, maintenance and construction of railways, underground roads and other companies engaged in the production of vegetable oils and the production and processing of agricultural grain and wood processing.
