Eighteen companies from the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria participate in the 61st Damascus International Fair representing the public and private sectors to introduce their products in the fields of plastic industries, harvesting factories, tractors, electric motors, leather industries and cleaning materials.

A number of Algerian companies participating in the exhibition are looking for agents for their companies in the Syrian market promising investment as well as the definition of products that Algeria is famous for and activate trade exchange between the two countries, where the representative of the "textile and leather complex" Abdelkader Saadouni pointed out that the complex belongs to the government sector in Algeria and specializes in the production of clothing Leather shoes, as well as handmade carpets, revealed a number of preliminary agreements among a number of Syrian businessmen that could be put into effect at the end of the exhibition.
He pointed out, "Ali bin Turkia" representative of the company "Mendy" that the company is specialized in the mechanisms needed by the domesticated and looking to find an opportunity to market their products in Syria, while "Fadila bin Aziz" representative of the company "Nursey Ceramics" Damascus International Fair and the facilities provided to them to participate indicated The company has conducted a preliminary study of the Syrian market and therefore has a great chance of having a role in securing the building requirements in Syria.
Reda Yousfi, the owner of a plastic manufacturing company, pointed out that the company is specialized in manufacturing various plastic tools for the use of restaurants and houses.He expressed his happiness with the first participation in the exhibition and the need for an agent in Syria, pointing out that his participation in the exhibition facilitates his access to the largest number of agents.
The General Company for Electronic Industries is participating according to its marketing officer “Yahya Yahya” with the main aim of searching for its agent in the Syrian market to sell its products, pointing to the impressive success he witnessed for Damascus International Fair which confirms Syria's excellence, its steadfastness and its victory over terrorism.
