The Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade, in cooperation with the General Organization for Exhibitions and International Markets, today honored 98 bodies comprising all the participating countries officially through their embassies in the 61st session of the Damascus International Fair and ministries, institutions and national public, private, Arab and foreign companies.
For his part, Secretary General of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry Humaid Mohammed Bin Salem pointed to the importance of honoring because it means a lot to him for being on the sisterly land of Syria in addition to the pride and happiness of our presence in it, stressing the continuation of permanent talks with the Syrian brothers in the private sector on cooperation between companies and all that is New to be positive partnerships and growth to serve the two brotherly peoples.
Bajwah pointed to the high turnout of visitors to the pavilion of Pakistan in the exhibition, hoping to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries.
In turn, the Chargé d'Affaires of the Philippine Embassy in Damascus Alex Lamred expressed his happiness to participate in the activities of the exhibition, which provided an opportunity to introduce the tourist attractions of the Philippines and showcase many products exported by the Philippines to the world, considering that the ceremony honoring the participants in the exhibition shows the appreciation of Syria to the countries and bodies participating in its activities.
Dr. Rami Khoury, Director of the International Educational Technology Company, pointed out that the honoring is a great honor and motivated to do more to provide the best in the future, while the Director of the General Establishment for Post Ammar Ali pointed out that the award motivates the institution to provide distinctive and new services continuously.
