Syria and the Republic of South Ossetia signed an agreement to enhance trade and economic cooperation between the two countries within the activities of the 61st Damascus International Fair in the fields of establishing a commercial house and facilitating the flow of commercial goods of national origin between the two parties.

Beikov said his government has located the commercial house of Syria in the center of his country's capital Tskhinval and asked to send a permanent representative from the ministry to supervise and provide the necessary observations during processing.

For his part, Hebron pointed out that the agreement is an affirmation of the common desire for economic cooperation between the two countries and evidence of the success of relations in several areas, pointing to the ministry's keenness to start the flow of commercial goods between the two countries.

Al-Khalil stressed that despite the war, the number of private companies, most of which have been stopped or damaged, is increasing, as they resume their vitality through the Damascus International Fair gate.He pointed out that Syrian traders and events owners are proving their success through their high quality products and suitable prices.

"We intend to establish and develop relations with Syria and strengthen them in various fields, and we pay special attention, especially in the economic field," South Ossetian President Anatoly Bibilov said in an interview with a SANA correspondent in Moscow in June.
