A number of countries in the world will participate in the activities of the sixty-first session of the Damascus International Fair in a message of solidarity with Syria and its people, while other countries in the exhibition found an opportunity to introduce their culture, industries and investment fields.

In a statement to SANA, Cuban Ambassador to Damascus Miguel Porto Barga pointed out that his country's participation in the exhibition expresses its solidarity and support for Syria, pointing out that the large presence of companies, businessmen and representatives of countries is proof of the success of the exhibition and a challenge to unilateral coercive economic measures imposed by the United States.

The Cuban embassy in the pavilion between Porto Barga offers samples of Cuban medicines and famous products as well as posters showing the most prominent tourist attractions in Cuba.

In the Pavilion of the Republic of the Philippines, posters featuring tourist destinations, traditional dress of various Philippine tribes and food products will attract you.

"We are delighted to see the wide participation of countries and we hope that our country will be able to conclude contracts to supply its food products to Syria," said Romitoito Mendoza, from the Philippine embassy wing.
