The Institute of Financial and Banking Studies of the Central Bank of Iran has decided to join the national financial electronic correspondence system with the Russian financial correspondence network (SWIFT) to face the ban.
The IRNA news agency reported today that this decision comes with the aim of confronting the banking ban and the restrictions imposed on the SWIFT system, the International Financial Communications Association between banks. .
The period after the Iranian banks join the Russian SWIFT system will witness the joining of the Iranian national banking network Stab to the Russian system of Mir.
