The Ministry of Oil and Mineral Resources announced the placement of a well (Deir Attia 2) in production with a depth of up to 3620 meters long and through the efforts of the staff of the Syrian Oil Company.
The cadres, according to a ministry statement received by SANA a copy of the final tests on the well, which is expected to produce between 450 and 600 thousand cubic meters of gas per day and about 150 barrels of condensate. A well (Deir Atiyyah 1) was put back into service last November with a depth of 3741 meters long and a production capacity of about 150 thousand cubic meters of gas per day after it was closed during the years of the terrorist war on Syria.
