Gold prices rose today as investors were cautious ahead of planned trade talks between the United States and China on the 10th and 11th of this month.
Spot gold rose 0.1 percent to 1505.38 dollars an ounce from 0.5 percent last week amid fears of slowing global growth, Reuters reported.
Gold futures in the United States rose 0.1 percent to $ 1,511 an ounce, platinum rose 0.3 percent to $ 878.87, silver lost 0.1 percent to $ 17.45, while palladium remained unchanged at $ 1665.67.
