Iran today became a permanent member of the CIS Cargo and Transport Council.
Said Saeed Rasouli, CEO of the Iranian Railway Company, told Fars News Agency that Iran was participating as an observer in the meetings of the Council of Freight and Transport of the CIS countries. Members.
He pointed out that there will be unified systems in the field of railway fleet and trade among member states where Iran will apply the adopted standards and this will improve the conditions of exports, imports and rail transit.
The CIS Cargo and Transport Council comprises Russia, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Belarus and Finland.
