Beijing-Sana
Porsche, a trademark of German carmaker Volkswagen, will recall more than 2,000 cars sold in the Chinese market for safety flaws, the government regulator said.
The company will recall 2,083 cars from November 8, including 895 Panamera and 471 Boxster, Xinhua news agency quoted the administration as saying on its website.
The management pointed out that the electric capacitance error of the electronic control units in the airbags of those cars may lead to activation or deactivation of air bags and tensioners and safety belts, which leads to an increased risk of accidents where the company will repair the defective cars for free.
