With the participation of about 200 students from the commercial technical institutes in Damascus, the sessions of the commercial guide started today at the Damascus Chamber of Commerce for the second time as part of the training courses provided for in the memorandum of understanding signed between the Ministry of Education and the Damascus Chamber of Commerce.

The first guide for business education in the Ministry of Education, Sawsan Haristani, explained to SANA that the courses conducted through the sessions of the Commercial Advisor started since the last academic year and continue this year until the end in the Damascus Chamber of Commerce, pointing to the presence of professional trainers from the labor market providing information and skills related to one subject each. Three sessions, in particular communication skills, marketing, entrepreneurship and human resources.

The Director of the Chamber, Dr. Amer Kharboutli, said that this activity aims at introducing students to the methods of communication and the work environment and the business sector and the skills required in the market and a real link between the outputs of education and the labor market. .

Dr. Ahmed Zakaria Sponge, a trainer of human development, education and administrative development, said that the aim of the courses is to enhance the scientific and technical outcomes and skills acquired by students that facilitate their access to the labor market, especially young people.

The Ministry of Education and the Damascus Chamber of Commerce signed a memorandum of understanding on February 5 with the aim of linking vocational and technical education with the needs of the labor market to allow business education students to acquire practical skills through training in economic establishments and linking the business community with students of various educational institutions affiliated to the ministry.
