The 48-hour strike by Lufthansa flight attendants has upset the plans of many travelers. Also on Friday several hundred flights were canceled: in Frankfurt am Main, Munich, Dusseldorf and at other airports of the country. According to the airline, a total of 180,000 passengers are affected by the failures.
However, the airline had published a special flight schedule on the internet. Affected individuals can inquire about their flight status online. Accordingly, around 600 flights will be canceled worldwide on Friday. Around 2,400 out of 3,000 planned flights take place.
Again, there were the most cancellations in Munich and Frankfurt, because only the core brand Lufthansa is stricken. This is present at smaller airports only with feeder flights to Frankfurt and Munich, so that account for only a few flight cancellations here.

On the first day of the strike, with 1300 canceled flights, the union had agreed to mediate with the company and declared that it would not plan to extend the strike for the time being.
Ufo calls in the current wage dispute for the approximately 21,000 Lufthansa flight attendants higher expenses and allowances and the better access for seasonal workers in regular employment. Lufthansa had already voluntarily implemented a salary increase of 2.0 percent. However, the main issue in the entire conflict is whether UFO can even enforce collective bargaining agreements for the cabin crew.
