LONDON (Reuters) - Oil prices rose on Thursday, recovering from early losses on hopes of progress in trade talks between the two countries

Oil prices rose today, recovering from early losses on hopes of progress in trade talks between China and the United States.

Reuters Brent crude futures rose 31 cents, or 0.5 percent, to $ 60.49 a barrel, after falling to $ 61.90 a barrel earlier in the day.

US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude was up 23 cents, or 0.4 percent, at $ 57.09 a barrel, after falling to $ 56.55 a barrel.
