British companies posted their biggest economic slowdown this month since mid-2016.
The survey, which targeted British purchasing managers and conducted by the IHS Market Index and CIBS, confirmed that the readings indicated that Britain, the world's fifth largest economy, is contracting at a quarterly rate of 0.2 percent.
