The directorates of the internal trade and consumer protection in the governorates closed 157 commercial shops and organized 520 catering controls against the violating commercial activities yesterday, including selling at a price and manipulating the specifications and cheating of many food commodities during the awareness and control campaign implemented by the Ministry of Interior Trade and Consumer Protection and its directorates in the governorates to spread the culture of complaint and protect citizens from Fraud, fraud and monopoly.
The bulletin issued by the Ministry of Consumer Protection Directorate, which received a copy of SANA, showed that most of the seizures were organized on the basis of citizens' complaints, pointing out that 41 supplies were organized and 34 shops were closed in Damascus and 98 seized and 29 shops were closed in Damascus countryside. 23 shops in Homs, 56 seizures and 5 closures in Hama.
In Lattakia, according to the bulletin, 70 seizures and 3 closures were organized, Tartous 101 seized and closed 44 stores, and in Sweida 17 seizures and 2 closures. In Aleppo, 48 seizures and closures were organized in 4 shops. In Daraa, there were 18 seizures. Business in Quneitra and organizing 12 seizures in Deir Ezzor.
