The Supreme Council of Tourism approved the environmental park project in Kiwan Land in Damascus, which was prepared jointly by the Ministry of Tourism and Damascus Governorate in order to preserve the green area in the region and improve the aesthetic and visual landscape and encourage popular tourism to be prepared an integrated financing study and the necessary schedule for implementation and alternative housing plan.

In the field of expanding and developing popular tourism in all governorates, the council decided to complete the investment procedures of Karnak beach and the two slides (ie) and (C) of Abu Afsa area in Tartous governorate to pay tribute to the appropriate tourist activities for popular tourism.

The Council instructed the Ministry of Tourism to provide technical, financial and consultative expertise to public sector organizations, grass-roots organizations and professional unions with regard to the management, operation and investment of tourism facilities and facilities belonging to these bodies to be optimized.

The Council discussed the reality of the stalled tourism projects in the governorates of Tartous and Lattakia and approved the proposals related to its take off, namely the Casino Hotel, Al-Sawar Tourists Returning to Lattakia City Council, Eastern Meridian Projects, Lattakia, Jul Jamal, Entertainment Center, East Blue Beach Resort Project in Lattakia Tartous Governorate.
