Damascus Securities Exchange trades weekly more than 156 million pounds

The value of Damascus Securities Exchange trading during the fourth week of November 156,088 million pounds through the circulation of 207814 shares distributed on 375 transactions.

The main market index closed at 5517.11, down by 9.33 points from last week, a change rate of 0.17 percent, while the leading shares index closed at 854.24 points, down 7.70 points, a negative change rate of 89.8 percent.

Shares of seven companies recorded changes in their shares this week, including three companies, which are Badia Cement by 2.94 percent and closed at the price of 1012.78 pounds and Qatar National Bank by 1.34 percent and closed at 386.86 pounds and Fransabank by 2.23 percent and closed at the price of 320.50 pounds.

The four low shares are Al-Aqeelah Takaful Insurance Company by 2 percent and closed at the price of 318.50 pounds and Al Baraka Bank by 1.36 percent and closed at 757.10 pounds and Sham Bank by 4.60 percent and closed at 530.59 pounds and Syria International Islamic Bank by 39.3 percent and closed on Price of 67,567 lira.

The other 20 companies listed on the market did not record any adjustment to their prices and closed equal to the previous closing prices.
