The resistance against housing construction companies becomes militant: According to SPIEGEL information, large property companies and their employees are increasingly the target of attacks.

In Germany, crimes against large housing companies were registered "in the mid-double-digit range" this year - per company. This communicated the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) on request of the SPIEGEL. Confessional letters to numerous offenses let according to BKA close to offenders from the left scene.

A popular target of the perpetrators is the CG group of the real estate developer Christoph Gröner. During the night of October 3, 2019, strangers set fire to a major construction site in Leipzig, two construction cranes were burning and threatening to overthrow neighboring houses, residents had to leave their homes. The State Office of Criminal Investigation (LKA) Saxony states in Leipzig a "qualitative increase" of relevant crimes against the CG Group.
