The governor of the Iranian Central Bank, Nasser al-Hamti, affirmed that exports of non-oil commodities are running smoothly, despite the pressures of the American embargo imposed on the country.
He Hemmati said in a statement today that foreign exchange is available through export operations, indicating that "the Bank's intervention through the exchange market management has led to a tie and stability after the fluctuations witnessed in the past few weeks."
He pointed out that the currencies flowing through the NEMA electronic system are displayed to cover imports of non-essential goods, refuting what is being circulated around the decline in non-oil exports.
