Oil prices fell today as tensions in the region eased and investor attention turned to higher US and crude inventories.
Reuters reported that West Texas Intermediate crude fell eight cents to $ 59.48, also towards the first weekly decline in six weeks, down six percent from last Friday's close.
And Brent crude fell four cents to $ 65.33 a barrel, heading towards its first weekly decline in six weeks, with losses of about five percent.
