On this 43rd day of mobilization against the pension reform, the unions again display their determination, this Thursday, in several cities in France. At the call of the inter-union (CGT, FO, Solidaires, FSU, CFE-CGC and three youth organizations), a 6th big day of interprofessional strike was indeed organized. In the Paris procession, the general secretary of the CGT, Philippe Martinez, estimated that the government "did not convince" with its recent announcements on the relative "provisional withdrawal" of the pivotal age.
"It is never too late to hand over a government," argued the union official before the demonstration started around 2 p.m. from Montparnasse train station in the direction of Place d'Italie, thus confining itself this time on the left bank of the capital.
After transport - whose mobilization has crumbled in recent days -, "it is necessary [...] that other professions join the movement", also called Philippe Martinez, ensuring that "the number of strikers, including at SNCF rebounds. " And to affirm: "The strike is still there [...] the determination is still as great! "
On the political side, Jean-Luc Mélenchon and François Ruffin (rebellious France) mingled with the protesters of Amiens (Somme). "The issue of pensions is not that of a privilege," said the president of the left party.
