Gold prices rose to a two-week high today amid selling in Asian stocks.
Reuters reported that the spot price of gold touched its peak achieved on the eighth of this month at $ 1568.35, up this morning by 0.3 percent to $ 1565.63 an ounce, while US gold futures rose 0.4 percent to $ 1566.20.
Palladium advanced 0.7 percent in spot transactions to $ 2516.82 an ounce, silver rose 0.1 percent, recording $ 18.08 an ounce, while platinum rose 0.2 percent to $ 1017.91 dollars.
