Snow's exercise will cost her over NIS 1 million

Prosecutors claimed the company cut about 7% of the dimensions it stated on the packaging will now increase the products as compensation: Nylon cling to a total length of 60 meters will increase to a total length of 66 meters and a nylon clamp to 150 meters will be increased to 160 meters.

Sano provided less product than it stated on the packaging and will now reimburse: Central Lod District Court approved a settlement in a class action lawsuit filed against Sano.

The plaintiffs, represented by Attorney David Schwarzbaum of Markman's Office of Tomashin, argued that Snow's products contained less than the stated dimensions on the packaging, for example in plastic wrap (30 meters and 150 meters). Stated on the packaging.

In its view, Sano argued that this is not a systematic practice and that in some cases it even delivers a product that is larger in size than the one stated on the packaging. She also claimed that the products were ordered from a Chinese company that manufactures for many companies in the world and that no similar claim has ever been filed.

The court thought there was room to compensate consumers. The parties approached a mediation process through which they reached a compromise: The company will increase the products that were the subject of the lawsuit: Nylon clings in a total length of 60 meters will increase to a total length of 66 meters and a nylon case of 150 meters will be increased by 160 meters. This compensation embodies the value of a return of NIS 988,000 which, according to the consideration, was subtracted from the public who purchased these products and did not receive full consideration for his money. Sano has also committed to delivering the paper rolls that are stitched in the stated lengths when it checks with the manufacturer and sends sample products to the Israeli Standards Institute that the company does deliver what it undertakes on the packaging.

The plaintiffs will receive NIS 40,000 in compensation and the legal fees will be NIS 160,000. Snow's exercise, whether done intentionally or not, now costs her over NIS 1 million. The message to companies is clear - the relationship between consumer and company is based on trust, and when it is hurt it is no wonder that consumers are becoming more suspicious and the basis for this good relationship is undermining. What is certain is that when promised - it must be kept even if it is a few inches of nylon clinging.
