Oil prices rose today after lower US crude inventories.
Reuters reported that Brent crude futures rose 31 cents, or 0.5 percent, to $ 62.35 a barrel, after it fell 1.9 percent in the previous session, while futures contracts for West crude rose
American mediator Texas 27 cents, or 0.5 percent, to $ 55.86 a barrel.
Prices were supported by news of a drop in crude oil inventories and distillate products in the United States last week, according to the US Energy Information Administration.
