Today, the Ministry of Tourism issued two decisions regarding the amendment of the criteria for the tourism classification for accommodation, catering and tourist chalets of various types, technical and service specifications, and quality standards required for these establishments.

The amendments included, according to the statement of the Director of Tourism Establishments, Ramah Al-Sheikh, to the delegate of Sana: On environmental hotels, renewable energies and thermal insulation. ”

The ministry said in a statement that Sana received a copy of it that the aim of the two decisions is to raise the level of establishments by focusing on the specifications of the quality of the cladding and the aesthetic of the external facades of the buildings and specifying special specifications for each of the hotels and resorts “religious tourism hotels, boutique heritage hotel, residence hotel and motel road hotel” along with the specifications Conditions required for the level of chalet classification.

The Ministry stated that modern modern standards have been included in the two decisions adopting the use of technology, providing services for people with special needs, allocating isolated spaces for smokers, and increasing spaces related to sporting and recreational activities in facilities located within the open areas and outside the organizational plans.
