Oil prices today fell more than two percent to their lowest level in several months, with concerns growing about the demand for crude after the increasing number of infections and deaths from the new Corona virus.
Reuters reported that the price of Brent crude fell 1.28 dollars, or 2.1 percent to 59.41 dollars a barrel, after falling earlier to 58.68 dollars, the lowest level since late October.
The price of US crude fell by $ 1.24, or 2.3 percent, to $ 52.55 a barrel, after falling earlier to $ 52.15, the lowest level since early October.
