The main index of the Damascus Securities Exchange, at the end of trading for the fourth week of the current month, increased by 20,888 points from last week, reinforced by the positive results of shares of 3 companies and to close at the value of 5,905.62 points and with a positive change of 0.55 percent.

As for the leading shares index, it also increased by 34.3 points, or 0.44 percent, and closed at 995,785 points.

And recorded this week 18 companies trading its shares, reaching a size of 261686 shares, distributed among 279 transactions, with a total value of 152,405 million pounds.

The market witnessed changes to the shares of 7 companies, of which the shares of three companies rose, the share of Al-Baraka Bank increased by 0.57 percent and closed at the price of 871.05 pounds and the share of Qatar National Bank by 18.8 percent and closed at the price of 349.92 pounds and the shares of the Syrian International Islamic Bank by 94.0 percent and closed at the price of 32.554.4 pounds.

As for the four low shares, they belong to Al-Aqeelah Takaful Insurance Company by 3.15%, closed at the price of 291.04 pounds, and the National Vegetable Oil Company by 32.1%, closed at the price of 729 pounds and the Levant Bank by 80.1%, closed at the price of 47,588 pounds and Sharq Bank share by 2% and closed at the price of 50,833 pounds While the shares of the other 20 companies listed in the market did not record any adjustment to their prices and closed equal to the previous closing prices.
