Germany is preparing for the end, Britain is preparing for exceptional air luck: Which flights have already been canceled, and how much will rail traffic be affected?

Particularly windy weather is expected to hit many cities in Europe tomorrow and Monday. This means anticipation of cancellation of flights on international and domestic routes. Rail traffic will also be disrupted.

Lufthansa has already announced cancellation of departing flights from Israel: flight number 681 scheduled to depart from Tel Aviv to Munich and return flight, number 688 from Munich to Tel Aviv, both scheduled for tomorrow (February 10).

Germany is preparing for a storm that will affect large parts of the country. Stormy weather is expected to include winds of 120 mph, and Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Bremen and Hanover are forecasting disruptions on the flight schedule, including flight cancellations. Rail traffic throughout Germany will also be affected by stormy weather, and many lines are expected to be canceled.

Britain is also preparing for exceptional weather. Dozens of flights in the kingdom have already been canceled, and train schedules have been significantly reduced. In France, authorities also warned of flooding in the airport area alongside winds at 140 mph, and in the Netherlands hundreds of flights from KLM airline scheduled to take off from Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam were grounded.
