Three days after a day of mobilization of hospital staff to express their attachment to the public hospital and their anger at the inadequacy of the government's " emergency plan " announced last fall, the president of the Inter-emergency Collective Hugo Huon castigated " a beautiful form of contempt ".
The latter criticized AFP on Sunday " the cheek " of Agnes Buzyn " to leave the ministry when, after eleven months, everything remains to be done in the hospital ". " Paris is well worth a hospital, " commented the inter-emergency group on its Facebook account. " We are taking away the captain of the ship in the midst of a storm, " reacted to LCI Patrick Pelloux, president of the association of emergency physicians (Amuf).
L'Avenir des jeunes pharmaciens hospitaliers (AJPH) tweeted that " the hospital is burning and Agnes Buzyn is looking at the town hall ". Also on Twitter, the inter-hospital collective imagined campaign slogans for the new candidate for mayor of Paris: " you are for emergency stretchers, vote Buzyn!" You are against the increase in the salary of nurses, vote Buzyn! You are for the financial strangulation of the public hospital, vote Buzyn! You are for the State to steal the Social Security, vote Buzyn! "
Interns lift their notice
In a press release, this group judges that " for four months, the Ministry of Health has been unable to provide anything other than good words. The change of contact does not change the claims in any way ”.
The arrival of Olivier Véran, a doctor also like Ms. Buzyn, is nevertheless rather favorably viewed by health professionals. " We must reform the hospital and involve those who support it on a daily basis, " the new minister insisted on Monday during the handover. He announced " a national survey " among all of the " hospital " to " try to capture in detail the meaning of their engagement with the public and the reasons for the discomfort they have been telling us for a number years now ".
The Intersyndicale des internees (ISNI) takes note, in a press release, of the departure of Ms. Buzyn who " is embarking on a local adventure " and the arrival of Mr. Véran. " Wishing (him) to give the opportunity to be open to the issues that shake interns and the public hospital ", the ISNI decided to lift its notice of unlimited strike as of Wednesday.
On behalf of the association of emergency physicians Samu Urgences de France (SUdF), François Braun greeted AFP Agnès Buzyn " with whom we worked very well " and was confident for the future with Mr. Véran , " Of which we know the public investment for patients ".
