Emmanuel Macron's “Productive Pact” will be presented in April

" We are in a global race for innovation and competitiveness and we need to have an ambitious and organized strategy for France, so that our industry remains in the leading pack of the major industrial nations ," said the Secretary of State during a meeting with industrialists in Bercy. " This is the whole purpose of the productive pact that the President of the Republic will unveil during the month of April, " she continued.

The Productive Pact had been announced by Emmanuel Macron in April 2019. It aims to " build a new French model respectful of the environment to achieve full employment ".

The pact was the subject of a series of three-month consultations last summer and a restitution session was held in September.

Agnès Pannier-Runacher spoke at the signing of the 2020-2023 target and performance contracts for the Industrial Technical Centers (CTI) and Professional Economic Development Committees (CPDE). These organizations are dedicated to technical and training support for industrial SMEs and mid-caps (between 250 and 5,000 employees). CTIs and CPDEs "will participate and contribute to [the] industrial strategy, " said the Secretary of State. " Our goal is to accelerate innovation to develop full employment in industry and services and to rely on the ecological transition to take this strategic quarter-hour that should allow us to rebuild competitive advantages and go to gain international market share , ”she said. " We need you, " she said to the heads of the technical centers and to the manufacturers present, calling on them to " create [a] collective " to " achieve these objectives ".
