Salaries of young teachers: Blanquer announces an increase of 100 euros per month next year

No reduction in pensions?

The discussions with the unions, which began in January, should lead before the summer to a law for programming salary increases. Within the framework of the pension reform, the government has undertaken that salary increases will guarantee the same level of retirement for teachers, who could potentially lose a lot.

" Teachers' pensions will not drop " and " their remuneration will increase ", reaffirmed the minister, recalling that cumulative increases of 500 million euros per year must come to supplement the " natural " budgetary increases in National Education from from 2021.
