With the shutter low in the local stock market following the celebration of the carnival, the market is still reached on Monday because of the fear of the coronavirus that travels to the world stock exchanges through the Argentine shares (ADR) listed in New York. And the falls reach 7.8%.

This is the case of Mercado Libre, which leads the crash. But there are several papers that fall around 4% or more . Supervielle drops 3.9%, Macro loses 4.8%, Corporación América drops 5.8% and YPF falls 4.1%. Tenaris and Ternium are close, with reds of 4.6% and 4.4%, respectively.

Not good news for Argentina. By the time the market reopens on Wednesday, the shares should "catch up" with these falls, unless on Tuesday there is a strong rebound with a reversal of the mood that took over the markets today.

So far this month, the Merval loses 3.7% and accumulates a 7.4% decline in the year. With regard to ADRs, the casualties reach 22.1% in 2020, as in the case of Pampa Energía.
