The Ministry of Tourism has approved an investment contract for the Carlton Hotel project in Aleppo, which has been devastated by terrorism, which includes the reconstruction of the historical building, with the construction of a complementary block to it that corresponds to the heritage character of the old city of Aleppo, and their tourist employment as a hotel.
According to a statement of the Ministry of Tourism, SANA received a copy of it, the signing of the contract between the Ministry as the owner and the old Aleppo Revival Company Limited is to coincide with the victories of the Syrian Arab Army in the province of Aleppo and the economic recovery the city is witnessing.
The program of investment and employment contract includes restoring the historical construction to what it was with praising a complement to it in line with the heritage character of the old city of Aleppo and employing them as a tourist as a five-star hotel with a capacity of not less than 80 rooms and four restaurants with a capacity of not more than 800 feeding chairs with The ability to add complementary commercial, entertainment and service activities.
The contract specified the duration of the project implementation 4 years and its investment in accordance with the system (BOT) for a period of 40 years and an annual investment allowance of 16 percent of annual revenues, i.e. an average minimum for the duration of the investment amounting to 558 million pounds.
