The Paris Stock Exchange opened slightly higher Tuesday, March 10, taking advantage of a slight rebound in oil prices after a collapse on Monday and betting on an energetic action of governments and central banks facing the coronavirus crisis, in the aftermath of the worst trading session in twelve years.

At 09:10, the CAC 40 index gained 1.38% to 4.772.85 points after advancing 1.29% at the opening. Monday, the Parisian place had experienced its worst session since the last major financial crisis, collapsing 8.39% to 4,707.91 points. It had then brought its losses over the year to more than 21%.
