Total is making a gesture for hospital nursing staff, mobilized against the Covid-19. The group announced on Monday in a press release that it was making available to hospitals "petrol vouchers usable at Total stations for an amount of up to 50 million euros" . An initiative taken in " consultation with the health authorities of the country ", specifies the text.

Concretely, hospital directors are invited to contact the number 01-84-94-84-00 (8:30 am to 6:00 pm) or send an email to covid19@total.com in order to receive the corresponding allocations to their needs.
"Support for staff in our hospitals"
“ Present throughout the country, Total shares the daily life of those who everywhere are fighting against the epidemic. This is why the group wanted to concretely express its support for the staff of our hospitals mobilized for the health of the sick, ”commented the CEO Patrick Pouyanné, quoted in a press release. In addition, the Total Foundation indicates that it " will mobilize 5 million euros in favor of the Institut Pasteur and of hospital and health associations involved in the fight against Covid-19 ".

In recent days, the initiatives of companies for nursing staff are increasing. Monoprix, for example, supplies hospital staff first. In terms of transport, the SNCF has introduced free TGV and Intercités for healthcare staff while the RATP has opened 20 bus lines dedicated to their journeys.
