The directorates of internal trade and consumer protection in Damascus and its countryside today closed 28 trade activities in violation of red wax.
The Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection clarified in a statement today that the internal trade patrols in Damascus closed today 13 stores and during its campaign on the market, 20 judicial restraint was imposed against shop owners for committing various violations and selling at an excessive price.
The statement stated that 5 cars loaded with foodstuffs, amounting to 2 tons, were seized in violation of the sale at an excessive price and not showing purchase bills and trading in subsidized bread.
According to the statement, the number of closed commercial stores closed 187 during the month of March.
In Damascus countryside, the patrols of the Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Directorate closed today a commercial activity contrary to selling them at high prices.
The Ministry stated in a similar statement that the patrols of internal trade and consumer protection in Damascus countryside had organized 50 seizures against a number of owners of commercial activities for committing various violations during their oversight tours on a number of producers and wholesale and retail stores to sell food.
The ministry explained that food items were confiscated from two stores for monopoly violations, selling at a price higher than the official price and handing over the seized quantities to the Syrian Trade Corporation.
