The tax return postponed by a week, announces Gérald Darmanin

" I made the decision to postpone the tax return for a week, " announced Gérald Darmanin on the news at 8 p.m. on TF1. The declaration will therefore be made from April 20, instead of April 9 initially. The Minister of Action and Public Accounts also indicated that paper declarants would have one more month to make their declaration, that is, until June 11. Remote declarations may also be made until June 11.

Tax audits will be suspended, added Gérald Darmanin, on TF1. The Minister instructed the Director General of Public Finance and the Director of URSSAF, " to suspend the controls which existed before the crisis and which could have continued, or even been notified immediately after the coronavirus crisis, and not to carry out tax audits, particularly in the areas that have been decided, such as catering for example ”.
