The volume of foreign trade between Iran and the countries of the Eurasian Union has reached about a billion and a half billion dollars during the past five months.
The Iranian Fars Agency quoted Ruhullah Latifi, a spokesman for the Iranian Customs Authority, as saying that foreign trade with the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union amounted to more than 1.4 billion dollars in five months during the period from October 27, 2019 to March 25, 2020.
Latifi pointed out that since the preferential trade agreement between the two sides came into effect on October 27th, the volume of foreign trade reached 1.489 billion dollars between Iran and the countries of the Eurasian Union, which includes "Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan", where Iran's exports accounted for 33 percent in exchange for the proportion of import 67 percent.
