Four of the five representative unions of PSA - FO, CFE-CGC, CFTC and CFDT - signed on Tuesday an agreement on partial unemployment due to the coronavirus and the taking of holidays, thus validating this text negotiated with the management, a- we learned from consistent sources. This agreement, of which AFP has obtained a copy, guarantees, thanks to a “ solidarity fund ”, 100% of their net remuneration to all employees on partial unemployment (compensated by the State up to 84% of net salary). The text also provides for reducing summer holidays from three to two consecutive weeks. Managers will contribute to the “ solidarity fund ” two days of vacation per month, while the contribution of workers, technicians and supervisors will be one day. Management will also contribute to this fund.

As "a prerequisite for any assumption of resumption of activity ", the agreement provides for " a reinforced protocol of 'barrier gestures' " to achieve " the best level of protection " for employees " in industrial, commercial, tertiary and engineering ”. To finance short-time working, “ PSA shareholders are absolutely not called upon. The employees will still have to show solidarity with each other "and this agreement is" a brutal questioning of our summer holidays , "protested Mr. Mercier.

For its part, " FO will be a signatory to this agreement which responds to our request to maintain 100% compensation " for all employees, explained Olivier Lefebvre, DSC of the first union of PSA.

Regarding summer holidays, " the main thing was to guarantee " that they can be taken " during the school vacation period, that is to say in July and August, " FO said in a statement. The management had planned that these leaves would be taken from May to the end of October.

CFE-CGC welcomed " a strong gesture of solidarity from company executives ". The second union of PSA recalled that under an agreement of the metallurgical branch, the executives in fixed price days were already assured of " integral maintenance of their wages in the event of partial unemployment ". The agreement provides " an adaptation of the calendar of annual closings, which will take into account the development of the automotive market ," said management in a statement.
