The Turkish lira recorded a new fall against the dollar today, to reach the weakest level since its crisis in August 2018.
Reuters reported that the Turkish currency amounted to 7,775 pounds to the dollar, down from the low level of 7,250.7.
The Turkish currency is deteriorating due to the deteriorating political and security conditions that Turkey is witnessing, especially during the recent period due to the repressive measures practiced by Erdogan's regime under the pretext of the coup attempt in mid-July 2016, which led to economic rebounds, including a decline in tourism and investments and a decline in the country's foreign exchange earnings.
