Data published by the Ministry of Trade of the Turkish system showed that the trade deficit widened in April by 13.4 percent year on year to reach $ 3.4 billion.
"The imports fell 32.2 percent to 11.84 billion dollars, while exports fell 41.6 percent to 8.44 billion dollars last month," Reuters quoted the ministry as saying in statistics released by it.
