The employer certificate (accessible at this link), which allows you to use public transport during rush hour to get to your workplace, must be completed by the company. The employee's last name, first name and date of birth must be indicated, as well as his address, profession and place of professional practice. The document does not need to be filled in every day, an “ expiry date ” can be indicated. Finally, the certificate must include the name and stamp of the employer.

The certificate will be essential to take public transport in Ile-de-France on the beaches from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. then 4 to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday. Outside these frameworks, the use of public transport will be free, but on condition of respecting the rules in force, including social distancing. This certificate " aims to give priority to those who go to work ", while the RATP has considerably reduced its passenger carrying capacity during deconfinement, to " 15% of normal ".

The document will be " controlled, because there will be filtering at the entrance to major stations, " said Sunday the president of the region, Valérie Pécresse. " The government has responded favorably to my request, but belatedly, we will have a tolerance until the middle of next week on these certificates, " said the former minister.

Until Tuesday inclusive, the controls will therefore have an " educational aim " only. Once this period has passed, “ in the absence of these supporting documents, access is refused and people are escorted outside the public collective transport spaces concerned. These people are also exposed to a contravention, the terms of which are fixed by the public health code , ”specifies the prefecture.

A second certificate for those with " a compelling reason to travel "

In addition, " people with a compelling reason to travel ", such as childcare, a summons, a job interview or a medical appointment, can also take transport on these time slots. In these cases, a “ self-certificate ” (accessible at this link) must be completed by the persons concerned. " Persons holding a professional card may validly present it, instead of a certificate ", in both cases, specifies Île-de-France Mobilités. This second type of certificate includes, like those that the French had to complete in recent weeks, several check boxes depending on the reason for the trip.
